Job Title: Junior Digital Designer
Salary: £19,500 – £21,500
Location: Solihull (hybrid working from home)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm (one hour for lunch)
Description:
Due to expansion our client, a well-respected and long-established financial services company based
in Solihull is recruiting a Junior Digital Designer to join their busy
Design department which supports
the Marketing Team. This role will be hybrid working – part office based, and part from home.
The successful candidate will be organised, efficient and proactive, have a good eye for detail and
strong communication skills. The candidate will have experience of HTML5, email platforms, CSS3,
Adobe CC, CMS, Responsive design and SEO.
Key Duties:
Produce day-to-day website content, email marketing and digital advertising
Work with the team to add and update website content, ensuring adherence to best
practice for web
Make constant improvements and advancements to existing sites
Design and build new digital design elements, to be implemented and executed by the
Digital Designers and/or IT
Ensure brand consistency is maintained
Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with company processes and
procedures
Be aware of the Group’s risk framework, reporting incidents as appropriate
Key Skills/Experience Required:
Current knowledge of digital design industry standards and web protocols
Experience of HTML5, email platforms, CSS3, Adobe CC, CMS, Responsive design and SEO
Good knowledge and understanding of major operating systems and browsers
Ability to self-manage and prioritise several projects at once, whilst keeping to set deadlines
Ability to multi-task and switch focus as required
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
In return for your hard work, you will earn a starting salary of £19,500 – £21,500 and excellent benefits.
