Job Title: Building Services Manager
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000
Location: Solihull
Description:
Due to expansion our client, a well-respected and long established financial services
company based in Solihull is recruiting a Building Services Manager to join their busy
group property department.
The purpose of the Building Services Manager role is to oversee the management of
hard services and processes that support the core business, ensuring that all sites
are managed to a high standard.
The successful candidate will have a HND in Building Services Engineering or
Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering as well as proven experience in a similar
role.
Key Duties:
Deliver highly professional building services in compliance with relevant
legislation and in response to organisational need
Play an active part in leadership of the team
Oversee the management of the outsourced service partner for all mechanical
and electrical services
Provide weekly updates and information for governance reports
Oversee the work of maintenance and repair contractors on site
Support the management of supplier relationships
Act as a point of contact for matters related to the operation and function of
the building
Record and monitor building services budget
Work closely with the procurement team
Undertake regular review contractor meetings
Key Skills/Experience Required:
HND in Building Services Engineering or Electrical and/or Mechanical
Engineering as well as proven experience in a similar role
Strong administrative, organisational and communication skills
Good IT skills
Able to demonstrate excellent project management skills
Flexible approach to work
In return for your hard work, you will earn a starting salary of £40,000 – £50,000 and
excellent benefits.
