Warehouse Operative
Job description:
- Goods receipting deliveries
- Checking deliveries and asking for technical help when needed
- Despatching good to customers, returns to suppliers if needed
- Checking a week later with the customer that their shipment was received and that they have everything they need with the order
- Ensuring certification is sent to the customer if it has been requested
- Safety checking the forklift daily/weekly
- Safety checking racking and ladders monthly
- Ensuring workstation is tidy and free from hazards
- Ensuring whole warehouse is tidy and following Health and Safety good practice
- Ensuring stock is kept in the correct location
- Photographing stock and saving a picture of this on Priority stock can be easily located
- Stock taking as required
Further information:
- Full time / permanent
- Salary based on experience
- 22 days holiday, pension scheme
- Based in Solihull, West Midlands
- Reporting into the General Manager
About you:
- Strong organisational skills
- Computer literate
- Engineering experience is helpful
