Job Title: Transport Co-ordinator

Salary: £22,000 – £25,000

Location: Rubery

Duration: Permanent

Hours: Full Time

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Transport Co-ordinator to join a company experiencing a high level of growth and expansion.

The business manufactures and supplies its products to various industries including construction and transport so experience in a similar industry would be useful, as well as a logistics background.

Key Duties:

• Negotiating prices with suppliers to ensure costs are kept within budget
• Co-ordinating deliveries nationally and internationally using the required method of freight
• Resolving any issues during the process
• Liaising with customers, suppliers and carriers
• Updating the in house computer system

Key Skills/Experience Required:

• Experience in a similar Transport Co-ordinator role
• Knowledge of the construction industry would be a strong advantage
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to create and work to processes
