Piano/Keyboard Teacher. Solihull

We are looking for a self-employed keyboard / piano teacher.
The ideal candidate will have minimum grade 6 keyboard / piano with all round music skills. Key areas we will look for are:
– All round music skills, chords, notation & music theory.
– Ability to play with confidence and use technical ability to produce exciting performances to motivate each class of students.
We offer classes at our state of the art music studios, set just outside Solihull. Our classes take place late afternoon / evenings on weekdays and in the mornings at weekends.
Successful candidates will be assessed on:
– Ability to use singing and movement.
– Availability for teaching evenings and weekends.
– Willingness to use and follow lesson plan templates.
– Ability to exert authority for discipline purposes, whilst remaining kind and calm.
– Ability to commit to teacher training days.
– Ability to attend and deliver Free Taster Lesson Days for Student Recruitment.
– Flexibility to cover some teaching on occasion.
– Ability to teach 44 weeks of the year.
– A driving license and own transport.
A successful candidate will also:
– Become a part of an established Team of Music Teachers.
– Have their own enthusiastic groups of students (beginners or improvers) with the opportunity to grow student numbers, resulting in a healthy salary.
– Benefit from good rates of pay, Yamaha teachers earn more per hour than what is possible possible in a 1-2-1 lesson (up to £36 per hour).
– Receive ongoing Teacher Training and paid for CPD from Yamaha HQ as well as ongoing Professional Development.
– Ability to feature on our YouTube, Instagram and Facebook pages to showcase results.
– Ability to start teaching with classes ready to go.
– No sales or student recruitment necessary as this is done through the management team.
