Job Title: Paraplanner

Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 excellent benefits including free parking

Hours: Full time

Location: Solihull

Description:

A well established and prestigious company based in a semi-rural location near Solihull is recruiting a Paraplanner to join their team and to provide accurate and timely research, technical analysis and detailed compliant reports. Key Duties:

  • Implement recommendations to meet agreed client objectives in line with business advice process
  • Record any client communications (whether that communication is written, oral or electronic) including client related communications with third parties
  • Assist in identifying areas for planning and sourcing solutions suitable to meet the client’s needs and objectives
  • On occasion it may be necessary to deal with technical queries from clients
  • Responsible for day-to-day paraplanning tasks – identifying what’s required, where client cases have information missing or outstanding actions
  • Working with the advisers and administrative team to obtain information and subsequently writing a report ready for approval
  • Own, commit and be accountable for individual personal development to benefit own career progression and in turn enhance the client experience
  • Ability and desire to work in a team environment to provide help and support to all team members to drive great client outcomes
  • Share best practice, knowledge and technical expertise (both successes and learns) to drive continuous improvement
  • Demonstrate and role-model integrity, honesty, passion and respect for clients, team members and third parties in order to achieve the short, medium and long-term company vision

Key Skills/Experience Required:

  • Detailed technical knowledge and understanding of Financial Services within an IFA environment
  • Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent
  • Previous Paraplanning experience
  • Accurate, organised and efficient approach to research, technical analysis, problem-solving and report writing
  • Embrace and use technical software (back-office/platform/technical analysis tools)
  • Accurate presentation and communication of technical language which is understandable to clients (both written and verbal)
  • Build rapport and relationships with clients and team members
  • Respecting client confidentiality
  • Own, commit and be accountable for individual personal development to benefit own career progression and in turn enhance the client experience
