This role is based at our premises on Coleshill Industrial Estate, B46 1JT.

We are looking for an Assistant to support our business owner in Office Administration & Sales. During busy periods they will also support our Warehouse team. Our ideal candidate will be an excellent Administrator, skilled in learning and using multiple IT systems. They will be hands-on and have a ‘can do’ attitude to support the owner in all achieving reasonable priorities as they run the business.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Excellent customer service via email and telephone
  • Financial administration such as processing invoices, matching payments received, making payments and VAT returns
  • Creating impactful visuals to showcase products on a variety of platforms
  • Updating and enhancing the Company website and various platforms to drive sales
  • Production of meaningful reports to the business owner as a result of manipulating and analysing available data
  • General administration including data entry, placing orders, managing inbound email queries, taking messages, and booking appointments for the business owner
  • Organising collection and delivery of goods with suppliers and couriers
  • Warehouse duties including checking inbound deliveries against order notes, stock taking, picking and packing orders, restocking shelves
  • Repackaging and rebranding of products to ensure stock is available to pick
  • Processing returns, checking stock and updating the necessary systems
  • Knowledgeable in all products and services on offer
  • Occasionally taking goods to the local Post Office
  • Key holder to open up or lock premises as required
  • Housekeeping around the premises
  • Any other reasonable duties to ensure the smooth running of the business

Key Skills

Essential

  • A real team-player who strives to do their best to drive the success of the team
  • Excellent administration skills with attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Confident in using the telephone to manage inbound and outbound calls
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel including pivot tables
  • Strong experience in IT systems (Magento, Photoshop and Outlook are desirable)
  • Ability to deal with customer queries/complaints in a diplomatic, professional manner
  • Able to manage own workload and work off own initiative

Desirable

  • Experience within a Warehouse environment

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £21,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability. This role requires 2 x 30 minute shifts every other Saturday and Sunday. Are you able to commit to this (times flexible and can be done from home)
