Job Title: Legal Secretary – Experienced Legal Secretary, ideally with a Private Client practice.

PERMANENT

Paying: £25,000 to £28,000

Location: Meriden – CV7

Hours: Monday – Friday 8.30am to 5pm or 9am to 5.30pm

Description:

A well-respected and long-established company is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary/Legal Assistant, with fabulous audio typing skills to join their busy team asap, ideally with a Private Client practice background

Highly proficient in both audio and copying typing, you will be competent on all Microsoft applications to carry out the below duties:

  • Reception cover when required
  • Meeting and greeting Clients
  • Answering the telephone, fielding calls and taking messages
  • Booking meeting rooms
  • Diary management
  • Secretarial support to 6-8 fee earners
  • Audio and copying typing various documents – this is a large element of the role
  • Onboarding new client documentation
  • Dealing with a lot of email correspondence
  • Scanning and printing documents
  • Using LEAP

Key Skills/Experience Required:

  • Previously worked within private client/legal sector
  • Highly proficient in typing – audio and copy with excellent accuracy skills
  • Excellent organisation and co-ordination skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines, with an excellent eye for detail
  • Ability to liaise at all levels.
  • Competent administrative skills
  • Ideally of knowledge in LEAP would be desirable
  • Due to the remote location of the role you will need to be a car driver

In return for your hard work, you will earn a salary of £28,000 with 25 days holiday, pension and private healthcare.
