Job Title:  Customer Support Advisor
Salary: £19,514 per annum
Location: Lichfield (Based in the office for the first three months, with hybrid working thereafter)
Duration – Permanent
Hours: Monday – Friday 09.00 – 17.30
We  are  recruiting  for  an  experienced Customer Support Advisor to  join  our  client.  The main purpose of this  role  is  to  manage a case  load  of motor claims during the  period of  customers requiring a hire  vehicle.
  With excellent customer service skills, you  will  be:
Quality checking claims to  ensure no  delays have occurred which could affect the  recovery of hire  charges
Accurately assess the  claim status and  documentation on receipt of assigned claims to ensure they
 are  managed in  the  most efficient manner.
Correctly validate claims to  ensure the  repair work is  authorised appropriately
Verify all  relevant and  correct documentation is  received to  the  correct standard and recorded on the  claim
Monitor the  timely processing of assigned claims to  deliver agreed targets and  customer expectations
Liaise with external partners with a view to  progressing and  managing the  claim, positively influencing those involved
Ensure customers are  kept up  to  date when dealing with  any  issues or problems that  may arise during the  hire  period
Ensure all  costs associated to  the  hire  period are  able  to  be  billed and  recovered through efficient claims  management
Comply with GDPR
Key Skills/Experience Required:
Demonstrate experience within a fast-paced customer service role, ideally telephone based
Excellent communication skills and  demonstrable proven negotiation skills
Good written communication skills, capturing a clear logical summary of situations
Possess an  excellent customer service ethos with  empathy skills
Excellent organisation and  prioritisation skills
Ability to  work under pressure and  on own  initiative
Previous experience of achieving targets
Results driven and  tenacious
