Job Title: Accounts Administrator (6 month contract)

Salary: £22,500 – £26,000 depending on experience

Location: Birmingham, B33

Hours: · Mon – Thurs – 08:45AM – 17:00PM and Friday – 08:45AM – 15:30PM

We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-respected and established company based just outside of Birmingham who have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join their finance department as an Accounts Administrator.

The purpose of the role is to assist and support with the day to day running of the company’s finance department.

Key Duties:

Sales Ledger:

• Processing sales invoices
• Raising customer applications for payments
• Allocating customer payments
• Taking card payments
• Issuing customer statements/credit control

Purchase Ledger:

• Raising purchase orders
• Processing purchase invoices
• Reconciling supplier accounts
• Scheduling purchase payments

General:

• Answering finance related phone calls
• Sending supporting documents to clients
• Completing finance reports
• Bank reconciliations
• Month end close-down

Key Skills/Experience Required:

• Accounts/Bookkeeping experience
• Administrative/banking/reconciliation experience
• Excellent telephone manner
• Excellent accuracy skills
• Proficient in Microsoft software
• Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in a similar role

In return for your hard work, you will earn a salary between £22,500 – £26,000 plus excellent benefits.
