Kingsford Court Limited in Solihull is looking to appoint a Housekeeping Manager

Pay- £16,498.00

We are an elderly retirement complex providing a full service to our residents through a team of staff which the Housekeeping manager would have responsibility for, therefore we require someone who is confident, compassionate and has good communication skills. Knowledge of a computer system is essential, although training in using our programmes will be given. 

Typical duties involved are serving tea/coffee to owners, assisting at functions, overseeing the smooth running of the lunchtime meal, inputting data onto the computer, answering the phone and ensuring the safety of owners.

The position requires flexibility due to someone being on site 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The contract will be for working a guaranteed 21 hours per week plus 1 to 2 sleep over shifts per week on a rota basis.

It is also required to cover periods of absence for other duty managers in which overtime will be paid for. This role will require an advanced DBS check due the the vulnerability of some of the owners.
