Job Title: Events Co-ordinator

Salary: £19,000 – £22,000 (depending on experience)

Location: North Solihull

Description:

An exciting role has arisen for a lively, personable and highly organised Event Co-ordinator within a well-established events company in North Solihull. This is an ideal opportunity for the right person to develop a long term career in a busy and very successful organisation.

Key Duties:

– Account managing a number of clients and ensuring their administration processes are followed

– Supporting the Directors and Event Managers with day to day administration support, which will involve working on a number of projects at any one time

– Liaising with clients and delegates by phone, email and face to face

– Updating and preparing Excel spreadsheets

– Meeting preparation and room set up

– Occasional travel to attend arranged meetings and events to complete ‘on the day’ co-ordination duties

– Sending confirmation correspondence via email

– Collating and recording feedback after the event

– Associated administration duties

Key Skills/Experience Required:

– Experience of working in events – either within hotels, venues or an agency is essential

– Experience in a high pressure, deadline driven role is required

– Lively, personable, confident personality with excellent personal presentation

– The ability to liaise with people in a professional manner

– Intermediate Excel knowledge

– Excellent written and verbal communication skills

– Keen attention to detail

– Enthusiastic team member

– Your own transport would be advantageous

This is an excellent role for an enthusiastic individual looking for an Events Co-ordinator role within a successful and expanding business. In return you will receive a salary of approximately £19,000 – £22,000 per annum.
