Job title: Force Group Sales and Purchasing Assistant

Job description:

  • To be involved with the administration of The Group businesses:
  • Dealing with Enquires in a professional approachable manner
  • Inputting sales orders and understanding customer requirements
  • Logging quotes, chasing purchase orders and creating sales invoices
  • Order administration and confirmation
  • Supplier costings and delivery confirmation
  • Liaising with the warehouse operative with regards to good received and dispatching of orders
  • Liaise with Force Group accounts with regards to sales invoices, credit notes and creditor and debtor statements
  • General office duties including answering the telephone in a professional manner, letter writing, note taking and filing as required

Further information:

  • Full time / permanent
  • Up to £22,000-£25,000 basic pay
  • 22 days holiday, pension scheme
  • Based in Solihull, West Midlands
  • Reporting into the General Manager

About you:

  • Previous administrative experience essential
  • Invoicing experience useful
  • PC literate: Microsoft Word & Excel, conversant with data entry and ERP software
  • Flexible and proactive team player
  • Develops and maintains positive working relationships with others
  • Great communication skills especially around customer communications.
  • Strong organisational skills
