We are seeking an experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our Pre-School
As Room Leader you will be responsible for overseeing an area of the nursery, leading the staff team to ensure exceptional care and education to the children.
The Room Leader is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of the EYFS framework within their allocated room, you will also support the Manager and Deputy Manager in the running of the nursery as a whole.
Some of your responsibilities as Room Leader will include:
* To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment
* To plan, prepare and review the curriculum with the team in your room reflective of the EYFS
* To work in partnership with parents and carers
* To follow and implement all of the policies and procedures set out by the nursery.
* To embrace the unique, innovative and child centred approach that the Nursery offers the children and their families.
* To work in partnership with Early Years, Performing Arts, Music, IT and Sport teachers to ensure each child’s interests, needs and talents are encouraged, supported and recognised. You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:
* Minimum NVQ 3
* Experience in the EYFS
* A high degree of professionalism.
* A knowledge of safeguarding practices.
* A genuine passion in childcare, learning and Development.
* The ability to engage and support children’s needs, interests and talents.
* Previous supervisory and room leader experience. Excellent rates of pay with on-going support and career development.
