Job Title: Membership Engagement Executive (Learning and Development)

Salary: £20,000 to £25,000 depending upon experience

Location: Coventry

Hours: Monday to Friday, from 9.00am until 5.00pm (totalling 35 hours per week)

Description:

Working for a well-established organisation based in Coventry, the role requires a good telephone manner and administrative skills, engaging with members, establishing a relationship to build added value across all areas of the offer. To include training and skills development, business support and event management. You will need excellent communication and multi-tasking skills, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Organising and arranging the quarterly Management Committee board meetings, prepare and circulate agenda and papers for the meetings, taking minutes and following up on the agreed actions
  • Liaise with the Events Manager to help organise the bi-annual Conference, including advertising to members, collating attendee list, preparing packs, speaker presentations, catering etc
  • Managing the membership data in the CRM system, including sending out renewal letters, corporate supporter invoicing, updating database when members have paid, current membership grades are correct and administer the membership upgrade process
  • Dealing with new membership enquiries, applications and processing new applications
  • Administering Charity Trustee Fund training grant applications
  • Work with the Marketing department to ensure all current and future marketing literature is up to date and in stock
  • Supply content and images for bi-annual newsletter
  • Using a variety of software packages, produce correspondence, documents and maintain spreadsheets and databases

To Support the Learning and Development Manager in the following areas:

  • Support the management and administration of the online mentoring system
  • Managing training course bookings on system
  • Keeping accurate records of training Courses and trainees on system
  • Issuing Certificates for training completed
  • Booking rooms and facilities and catering at various locations for events
  • Photocopying and binding documents
  • Assisting on training days and at events
  • Franking and posting course materials
  • Any other duties that may be deemed appropriate to this role

Key Skills/Experience Required:

  • Good level of competence in Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Use of CRM databases
  • Good telephone manner
  • Good organisational skills used in planning own workload
  • Calm and professional disposition
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Able to work in a busy office environment
  • Well organised with strong attention to detail
  • Have a ‘can do’ attitude and be willing to be flexible and help in a small team
  • Knowledge of SAGE would be an advantage as would CRM databases, though training can be given

This is an excellent role for a well experienced, professional individual looking for a new challenge within a successful company. In return for your hard work, you will earn a salary of between £20,000 and £25,000 depending on experience.
