We are looking for a Field Sales Manager to cover East/West Midlands, South East/South West

As a field sales manager, you will be responsible for increasing the total sales value for your team, ensuring consistent profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning and management. You will identify objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short and long-term sales and earnings with your focus being business to business sales growth.
The key role responsibilities will include:
- Manage fully and motivate a team of field sales executives
- Maximising and increasing sales opportunities within your team
- Achieving daily run rates set for your team
- Establishing, maintaining and expanding your knowledge base of suppliers
- Servicing the needs of your existing customers upon renewals
- Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market
- Setting sales targets for individual team members and your team as a whole
- Ongoing coaching and support for individuals as per the company coaching and development targets
- Monitoring your team’s performance and motivating them to reach targets throughout the month
- Compiling and analysing sales figures for forecast meeting and directors
- Possibly dealing with some major customer accounts yourself when need be to support your team
- Reporting to senior managers on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
- Keeping up to date with products and market movements
- Monthly 1-2-1 objectives setting with individuals and following up with coaching
- Manage absence and holiday entitlement confidently via Timetastic,
- Managing all disciplinary processes, attendance and performance of individuals of your team
- To have the ability to manage cost centre and budgets for team
About you:
- You will be a determined highly driven person

- You will have at least 12 months previous experience in a similar role
- High work ethic required
- Demonstrable track record of success in a similar role
- Target driven and competitive by nature
- Ability to simply and concisely communicate complex solutions
- Disciplined analytical approach to problem solving
- Negotiation skills in a business to business environment
- Ability to flex and adapt tactics in response to changes to internal business priorities and market dynamics
- Be willing to do extensive travelling
