Job Title: Events Co-ordinator/Administrator (temp to perm)

Salary: £20,000 – £22,000

Temporary to permanent

Location: Birmingham – B33

Hours: 08.30 – 17.00 Monday – Friday

Our client, a charity based near Birmingham is recruiting an Events Co-ordinator, and no events is experience is required, however the successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic, creative and full of amazing ideas.

Key Duties:

• Working with the founder to create new event ideas to support fundraising for the charity
• Researching venues
• Sourcing relevant suppliers
• Co-ordinating the event in the run up and on the day
• Assisting with marketing and advertising
• Providing administrative support
• Any other duties as may reasonably be required

Key Skills/Experience Required:

• The desire to learn
• Excellent attention to detail
• A confident and professional manner
• Bundles of enthusiasm
• Ability to work both independently but also be part of the team
• Excellent IT skills, including a working knowledge of presentation software packages, preferably Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
