Salary: £22,000 – £24,000 per annum

Location: Birmingham – B33

Hours: 08.30 – 17.00 Monday – Friday

Our client, a charity based in Birmingham, is recruiting for an experienced Events Administrator. Self-motivated, creative and full of ideas you will be demonstrating your skills working within a fast paced busy role.

Key Duties: working with the founder to create new event ideas to support fundraising for the charity

• Diary management, arranging and scheduling meetings

• Inbox management
• Administration support
• Researching venues
• Sourcing relevant suppliers
• Co-ordinating the event in the run up and on the day

• Liaising with sponsors
• Assisting with marketing and advertising across various social media channels

Key Skills/Experience Required:

• Events Administration experience
• Confident with excellent communication skills

• Attention to detail with excellent accuracy
• Deadline driven
• Bundles of enthusiasm
• Ability to work both independently but also be part of the team
• Excellent IT skills, including a working knowledge of presentation software packages, preferably Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
