Job Title: Apprentice – Customer Service Specialist (18 Month Contract)

Salary: £18,000

Location: Solihull (hybrid working available)

Description:

Our client, a well-respected and long-established financial services company based in Solihull is recruiting for a Customer Service Specialist Apprentice to join the business within their Mortgage department. They are looking for individuals who are quick to learn, retain information, have strong written and verbal communication and are keen to progress a career in Mortgage Lending or Servicing.

As an apprentice you will have the opportunity to learn and work on a variety of tasks within Buy to Let Mortgage teams. Dealing with pre-and post-completion administration. Tasks from first enquiry, underwriting assessment, completion of funds and post completion customer retention.

Key Duties:

  • An 18-month apprenticeship as a Customer Service Specialist
  • The opportunity to work on different teams within the BTL New Lending department
  • The apprenticeship will consist of on-the-job learning, monthly workshops and 1-1 tutorial sessions
  • Hybrid working with a minimum of one day a week in the office

Opportunity for full time employment at the end of the apprenticeship

Key Skills/Experience Required:

  • Grade 4 or above in Mathematics and English
  • Educated to A-level or equivalent
  • Commitment and eagerness to learn
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Ability to retain information
  • Logical thinking
  • The ability to respond to change and cope working in a business environment

In return for your hard work, you will earn a salary of £18,000 plus excellent benefits.
