Job Title – Bar Staff

Job Description – Are you looking for a full or part time role? We are recruiting experienced bar staff for a Solihull based hotel. The hotel is a family owned and run business and specialise in weddings. The hotel is set in a wonderful location and is very busy. As such, we are looking for an additional 3 members of staff. The roles can be either full or part time and will include working weekends and late nights. The rate of pay is competitive and negotiable for the right person.

Duties:

– Operate cash register and handle customer transactions accurately
– Prepare and serve beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
– Take customer orders and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
– Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels
– Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns
– Follow all safety and health regulations in handling food and beverages
– Collaborate with other bar staff to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

– Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred
– Knowledge of brewing, food service, and basic math skills is a plus
– Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
– Knowledge of retail math for inventory management is beneficial
– Must be able to handle food safely and follow proper hygiene practices
– A positive attitude and willingness to provide exceptional hospitality
