Activities Sessional Worker – Young Carers Team

0 hour contract – £10.47 per hour – Permanent contract

We exist to support those who care for their loved ones or someone else in the community.  We are looking for passionate individuals with experience of working with children and young adults to make a real difference to the lives of young carers aged 5 – 25 living in Solihull. We require skilled, experienced and/or qualified staff to join our team to deliver our activities programme which exists to give young and young adult carers a break from their caring responsibilities.

As an activities sessional worker, you will lead and/or supervise young carers monthly evening clubs, school holiday days out and residential trips. You will help deliver safe, fun and inclusive activities that comply with session plans and procedures. Our Events & Activities Co-ordinator will organise the activities and you will deliver them. You will receive a rota and choose days and evenings across the year to suit you. Desirable, but not essential, is a full driving license held for 2 years, to assist with occasional driving duties associated with the role.
